Balls. People without them drift cars.

i’ve been busy as heck lately…
work consumes most of my time, but that’s because i’m full-time now.
and after work i’m always tired, mostly in a bad mood but i always seem
to end up at Jess’ house cause i know i can vent and chill there.
and somehow…we always end up doing something.
like buying a gold fish (which died a week later), going to navarre and
watch people drift cars at the navarre beach parking lot, or making a midnight
run to Krispy Kreme, etc. just random crap.

Summer School has been a pain so far. Business Calc isn’t too bad i guess, however,
Managerial Accounting is another story. Just another thing to stress out about i suppose.
I got accepted into UCF and i’m really really really excited about that. I just called the
apartment people today, and it looks like i have a very nice place to live. Gosh. I’m
excited and stressed at the same time, but what did i expect?

Life Is Good

You might wonder why I have titled this post “Life is Good!!!” considering its contents. If you knew Mike at all, you would not wonder. It is the phrase I most often heard him say, and one that I think defined him. Mike was my friend, scout leader, church leader … and above all, a great example to me of how a true disciple of Christ lives his life. I’ve heard the saying “Preach the gospel all the days of your life, and if necessary, use words.” I think that explains how I lived.

Hate Your Parents Sometimes

You must also try to forgive your parents, if the reason they are divorcing is because they do not love each other anymore, then try to support both parents in this difficult time, don’t hate your parents for falling out of love they deserve a happy life just like you do. Forgiving is also very good for healing, try to think positively, if your parents have been unhappy for years, this could be a time that both could find new loves and new happiness. In time, the new family structure could give you double the support that you would have got from your parents being un-happily married.

Mr. Bond Must Walk

Mr Bond is walking around back of the car.   Notice that the CB radio wire is not run through the roof of the car!  Bruno probably didn’t want to drill a hole in the roof of his brand new machine.   Is this the car handed down from Audisport?  The ex-Mouton car.  Buffum’s first Audi a few seasons earlier was definately Pierburg.  This one is likely Bosch EFI on a 10V.  It is a generation old because at this time Audi was running full A2 spec Group B cars in Europe and starting on the 20V machines.  This car could possibly be a full Group4 spec machine right down to the Pierburg.   It does have the tall wing which makes me things its Bosch EFI on a 10V.

Inexperienced Obama

Foreign nations are feeling strong today as the inexperienced Obama faces possible crisis number one and he hasn’t even been sworn in. A he said last night during the Grant Park speech, it’s going to be a long road.

Friendship and Politics

No man on Earth has more new best friends that a President-elect – especially the first black Commander-in-Chief, a walking charisma machine, swept to victory by a nation longing for change and hope. Nick Robinson’s fisk of some of the remarks made by British politicians in the past twelve hours is unimprovable. Brown sees Obama as a  prospective centre-Left ally in his Plan to Save the World; Cameron salutes the new Novice-in-Chief on his way to the White House as a comrade in the battle for change. Which British party leader will do a better job of claiming to be Barack’s spiritual brother? I have no idea. But it is going to be richly entertaining watching them try.

You Fail At Failing

Treat and be each other’s best friend. Period. It’s worked for us. Perfectly? No, that would be an entire different post. But as we have changed and grown through the sanctifying of the Holy Spirit, we have loved each other…warts and all. We have allowed each other to do according to our like and dislikes. To be the best at whatever we have wanted to do. Is it easy? Not always, but it’s worth it in the end. But I don’t have to worry about failing nor does my husband. We take each other where we are.

Camera Phones

When the bride worked up the courage to go join the band to sing and play guitar, I grabbed my camera phone and started snapping like a tourist. Snap, save, snap, save, snap, save, snap… I tried taking photo’s but my camera phones so bad I wont even waste your time with those pics. Hopefully a description and a (bad) diagram will be enough. The seed’s were some crappy random seeds a mate found in his weed that he liked a lot.

If You Are Going To Get Married

Of course you can land multiple points if you fill multiple rolls at the same wedding. If you are standing in the Bridal Party and you mailed all the invitations, well that’s 3 Fantasy points for you. Also, you can score from the same. If she says no, then she loves you but if she says yes, ‘I would attend your marriage’, that means she is not serious with you. She is not at all bothered that you are getting married.

Determination

All it takes is the determination of one angry mother to solve a problem. Yes, my oldest daughter’s problem at school has now been resolved. She spoke with her school counselor about the issue and made sure to let said counselor know

Agony

Obviously, I knew I wasn’t the only person in the world with this problem, but the similarities and accuracy here are just incredible: Agony and Rapture. Hell, it’s like he has even read and following some of the suggestions on this blog.
